Preservation NC’s 2024 Annual Conference

Join us October 16-18 in Rocky Mount & Tarboro for Preservation NC’s 2024 Annual Conference! Rocky Mount is a mid-sized city centrally located on the fall line that separates the lower coastal plain with the hilly Piedmont. This railroad town and former tobacco hub is divided between Nash and Edgecombe counties and is home to many wonderful rehabilitation projects including Rocky Mount Mills, the Imperial Centre, the Booker T. Theater, and the city’s 1893 train depot.

Tarboro is a charming Colonial-era town rich in history. It boasts beautiful historic districts, a lively downtown, and is home to one of two original town commons remaining in the United States (the second one located in Boston).
