THE MUSIC HOUSE – 408 W FIFTH STREET
2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
The Pitt County Historical Society is delighted to host its annual Thanksgiving Tea on November 17, 2024 at the Music House. The Music House is a Victorian home–one of the oldest in Greenville–which has been meticulously preserved and decorated in period style by owner John O’Brien. As part of this year’s tea, guests will have the opportunity to visit the Higgs House, which is the companion house to the Music House, and learn more about the history of the two homes and the families who lived in them. Parking is available in the Greenville Utilities Lot immediately adjacent to The Music House. Individuals interested in a tour of the Higgs House will meet at the Higgs House at 2:00 pm before returning to the Moye House (Music House) for a program on the two houses. Refreshments will be served around 3pm.
