Historic Oberlin Village Walking Tour

Oberlin is the last known intact village in North Carolina founded by a Free Black prior to the Civil War. Hear the personal stories of the occupants and learn the architectural details of the historic structures along the main street of the village – Oberlin Road.

This dynamic tour includes:

  • 5 Raleigh Historic Structures
  • 3 National Historic Register Places
  • 3 Community Landmarks

This FREE 1.5 hour tour is paced for the comfort of the attendees. Everyone is encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes.
